Environmental Sustainability Photography

This photography gallery features a collection of photos highlighting businesses and organizations that support environmental sustainability. These photos are meant to capture lifestyle images of workers in the field who take care of the planet and environment through eco-friendly initiatives such as seeding, removing invasive plants, putting in new plants, and properly discarding debris.

The gallery will also feature detailed nature photos of plants, flowers, and waterfalls that exist within protected environments.

As a photographer, my goal is to capture a documentary-style narrative that showcases the beauty of the planet we live in through authenticity.

The Coldwater Canyon Restoration - TreePeople

The Coldwater Canyon Restoration event is an opportunity for volunteers to help contribute to the biodiversity and natural beauty of the park through eco-friendly initiatives.

Descanso Gardens 

Descanso Gardens is a popular botanical garden based in La Cañada Flintridge that features a variety of beautiful plants, a Japanese garden, and small waterfalls. The garden features a nursery (opened in 2022) that creates and houses rare plants and hybrids.

Descanso plans to restore the lake and improve water quality through the Lake Habitat Restoration Project.

Los Angeles Green River Restoration - TreePeople

Volunteers of the environmental nonprofit TreePeople have the opportunity to participate in the Los Angeles Green River Restoration event, in which the community works to provide sustainable solutions to care for the half-mile greenway. The TreePeople team prunes branches, removes unnecessary debris, and more.
